Aliens (Kirby, pwease?) Thread 1

Alien guy lands in Area 51 and is instantly found by the US military. The only way for him to avoid being captured is by blending in with the humans. He comes across a human girl, hoping for a place to stay. Since this is in the romance section, I would like it if they fell in love. Anyone care to soap with me (I'm looking at you, Kirby.)?

Bio: Verrance lived happily on his home planet with his two brothers, sister, and parents with a ruler that was very kind to the citizens of his nation. The ruler was very well loved. The ruler died when Verrance was aged fourteen in alien years, and his son took over the nation, showing his obvious tyrant side. The tyrant son would punish and/or execute anyone who disobeyed him, which occurred with Verrance's family. He escaped his home planet on a stolen government spacecraft. He was unable to save his family.

Every 16 years and 6 months, Verrance turns a year older.

The red lights flashed on the screen overhead as the spacecraft neared closer and closer to the planet, gravity pulling it down faster and faster. The front of the spacecraft wasn't burning up, though. Verrance silently thanked the military, but instantly regretted it. If they hadn't killed his family, he wouldn't have stolen their spacecraft and wouldn't be flying down toward this strange planet at a dangerous and startling speed. He pulled the spacecraft up just before it buried itself in the surface of the planet. What was the planet called, anyway?

Verrance opened the portal and stepped out onto the surface, which wasn't completely solid under his feet. A quick glance around told him where he was. No other planet he'd ever studied had anything like this. Earth.

Nik carried her gun in hand, and tried to dodge the fake bombs and hurdles that stood in her way.

He stood there for a moment, afraid to breathe. Was Earth's air safe? Yes, it is, he reminded himself, thinking of the days he'd spent studying this peculiar planet in a classroom. He took a breath. Safe, but disgusting.

She climbed a rope, aware of being timed. 40 seconds... a record.

He stepped back into the hovercraft, grabbing a sharp dagger and shoving it in the holster at his belt. Both the holster and the dagger were stolen from the military as well. He smirked. It wasn't like they'd miss them or anything.

He stepped back out onto Earth's surface–no, the ground, and looked around.

Nik flipped over a straw dummy, and shot a target.

Varrence started walking. He glanced back at his footprints. They looked weird. Not human. But not a lesser species to the humans, either.

The sun–he knew that word; the sun shone for his home planet, too– was slowly sinking behind the seemingly endless stretch of Earth. This would be dawn at home. He stifled a yawn.

The seargent nodded approvingly. "Nice work, Nikole."

Nik smiled at him. "Why thank you, Seargent Mike."

He sat down on the ground for a moment, watching the sun.

It was soon dinner time, and Nik ate quickly, since they only had a few minutes to eat.

Verrance had been traveling for an entire week, never sleeping. He hadn't realized how tired he was. He slowly began to fall asleep...

After she washed up, she went to her bunk, and fell asleep.

He fell back onto the sand, fast asleep.

**MORNING, 6AM**

A loud trumpet filled the air. Nik jumped up, got dressed, and ran out to the flag.

The sun slowly rose into the sky as a new day began. Verrance slept on in the sand.

"Okay, listen up! Today, we'll be digging. In sand. You may come in contact with some boy marines, but there's no touching aloud. Aiight?" As soon as he finished, many upperclass marines handed out shovels.

He slowly began to wake up. Where am I? he thought for a moment. He then remembered landing on Earth the previous night.
